The couple took over a family dairy farm from Irene’s father and they began growing produce. 

Today, the farm has stayed in the family and is now being farmed by the third generation, with Randy’s oldest son, Mike Kandel, at the helm. It is a Certified Organic Farm that focuses on raising organic corn, soybeans, hay and produce.

A large department within our store is dedicated to supplements. We proudly carry Trim Healthy Mama, Nature’s Way, Now Foods, Natural Hope Herbal and Sprigs Herbal brands.

To best serve our customers, we’ve expanded over the years to offer local meats and cheeses, honey and maple syrup made in Ohio, as well as hardware store items and fabrics. One local Amish grower—Stutzman Farms—grows and mills its own organic ancient grains like spelt, einkorn, wheat, oats, rye, corn and buckwheat.

Buying in large quantities allows us to pass the savings along to the customer. You’ll find more than 300 items in our Bulk Foods department.
