Berlin SUMMER SPECTACULAR

Please read thoroughly before moving forward with the application:

Berlin Summer Spectacular (BSS) welcomes producer-made (handmade) art only

We are accepting up to 40 10’x10’ booth/tent (must bring weights for set-up) spaces and will put additional applications on a waiting list.

All communication for BSS will be through email to director@visitberlinohio.com

Artist/Maker Vendor Cost:

$45 for a 10’x10’ space (we do not provide a tent for your space) — tents must be secured by weights.

-Table and chair rentals will be an additional $15, as priced by the third party we rent from 

-Electricity access can be available for $10, but numbers are limited. Please make sure to request on the application where implicated.

-Artist(s) has the option to co-apply and share a booth/tent space

-Payment by check only - made out to

Application and Payment Information:

-Submitted applications will be considered on hold until application is accepted and payment is received.

-Once applications are submitted, you will receive an email from us within 7 business days notifying you that your application is accepted, and how to proceed with payment.

- Acceptance of application is subject to review and approval of the BSS Committee. The primary reason for the review and approval process is to ensure diversity in the art on display and local merchant product inventory.  Applications will not be approved if they display content that is not appropriate for a family-friendly environment. The BSS Committee will notify applicants if their application becomes a subject for review.

-Payments must be received Friday, May 24^th or your space will be released for another artist/maker on the waiting list.

-When you submit your application, you are added to a waiting list as we continue to review applications and fill in vendor spots. 

Please note: there will not be any cancellation reimbursements issued for vendor spaces past Friday, May 24^th .

-Food products and reselling are not permitted through the artist/maker registration. Please see attached fact sheets from Holmes County Health Department for food related standards: Cottage Foods, Farmers Market, and Home Bakery

Participants agree by signing to accept the following hold harmless clause:

-I have reviewed and agree to the above terms for participating in Berlin Summer Spectacular

-By registering for and participating in BSS, I assume full risk and responsibility for any loss or damage incurred during this event and I release and hold harmless BSS coordinators, volunteers, sponsors, or contractors from any claims arising out of my participation in this event.

-I understand that I am solely responsible for all state, city, county or other applicable permits, licenses and/or certificates associated with my participation in BSS.

-I understand that I have been advised to carry my own personal and product liability insurance.

By signing this agreement, the Vendor agrees to abide by the following guidelines of BSS committee or any other representative/participant.

-I will be set up and ready to go by 9:00 AM on the day of the event (assigned parking nearby)

-I will be present with my space set up during Berlin Summer Spectacular and for the entirety of the event time (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

-I will notify the BSS Coordinator immediately if I am not able to participate in the event

-I will remove all my items immediately at the close of BSS (no earlier than 4:45 PM) and leave the space as I found it

-Return table & chair to designated site if applicable
